My Morning Reset Ritual: Celery Juice with Fuji Apple 🍏🥬

This morning, I pulled out my juicer, rinsed a bundle of celery, sliced up a Fuji apple, and made something that felt like a little gift to my future self: a tall glass of fresh green juice.
The moment I took that first sip, it was like my whole body exhaled. Hydrating. Crisp. Sweet but earthy. I forgot how much I love this combo and how good I feel after drinking it. It’s simple, but deeply nourishing. And more than that, it’s something that connects me to an old memory and a deeper intention I’ve been leaning into lately: coming back to what truly supports me.
Where it started
I first learned about celery juice from my aunt. She was the kind of person who always had a remedy, a tip, or a homemade wellness trick up her sleeve. I remember her swearing by this salty green juice for everything from clearer skin to more energy.
At the time, I was skeptical (and honestly, very into my vanilla chais from Dunkin’ before they changed the mix... the real ones know what I’m talking about). So I didn’t fully understand why she made it such a priority. It felt like one of those intense wellness things you commit to when you have more time and less of a chai obsession.
Years later, I started seeing it everywhere, especially in the wellness world through the Medical Medium. That’s when I began reading more about the science and energetics behind it. I loved the idea of something so natural, affordable, and accessible being that powerful. I tried it here and there, but I never gave myself the consistency to really feel the shift… until now.
Why celery juice? 🥬
Celery might seem humble, but when juiced, it becomes a bit of a powerhouse. The Medical Medium refers to it as a “miracle juice” for its ability to flush toxins, restore gut health, and support your body’s natural healing.

Digestive support: Celery juice helps stimulate stomach acid and bile, which can ease bloating and support smoother digestion.

Why I add apple 🍎
Straight celery juice can be a little intense, especially if you’re new to it. So I started blending in one Fuji apple, not just for taste but for the energetic boost too.
Fuji apples are naturally sweet, rich in antioxidants, and help buffer the saltiness of the celery. The result? A perfectly balanced juice that feels light, energizing, and easy to stick with long term. It’s like adding a touch of joy to something already healing.
How I make it a ritual
This juice has officially become my new morning non-negotiable. I make it first thing, ideally before I check my phone, drink coffee, or dive into my to-do list. It’s a moment of intentional nourishment, a reset before the rest of the day takes over.
My flow:
Wash a full bundle of celery (organic if possible).
Slice and core one Fuji apple.
Juice both together and drink immediately.
Wait 20–30 minutes before eating or drinking anything else so it can work its magic.
Funny enough, I used to love juicing at my last place, but we didn’t have a dishwasher. So the joy of making fresh juice was always followed by the dread of scrubbing tiny parts in the sink. It was a bit of a struggle, but we persevered 😀. Now that we do have a dishwasher? Complete g
ame changer! I took the juicer apart this morning with zero stress, tossed the pieces in, and actually felt excited to do it again tomorrow. It’s a small luxury I’m wildly grateful for, and it’s reminded me how much environment plays a role in sticking with nourishing routines.
Why it’s more than a trend
Wellness routines can get complicated. But this one reminds me that sometimes, the most supportive practices are the simplest. It’s easy to write off celery juice as a fad, but when I actually tune in to how it makes me feel — lighter, clearer, more hydrated — I remember that my body doesn’t care about trends. It cares about nourishment.
This ritual helps me start the day with intention, hydration, and a quiet moment of connection to my body. And that sets the tone for everything else.
