Tuning Back In: How I Practice Frequency Regulation in Real Life
Learning to notice when your energy drifts and how to return to your natural frequency
Energy Healing Basics: How I Practice Frequency Regulation Every Day
Lately I’ve been paying more attention to how my energy feels throughout the day.
There are moments where I feel completely in flow, clear, creative, connected. And then there are moments where it feels like I’m spinning. Overthinking. Scrolling. Getting pulled into things that don’t even belong to me.
That’s what frequency regulation really is to me. It’s the process of noticing when I’ve drifted from my own signal and learning how to tune back in.
Sometimes that looks like stepping away from my phone and going outside for a few minutes. Sometimes it’s putting my hand on my chest and breathing until my body softens again. Other times it’s turning on music that matches how I want to feel, not how I currently do.
I’ve learned that my frequency doesn’t need to stay “high.” It just needs to stay mine.
When I’m grounded in my own energy, everything feels different. Conversations flow better. Work feels lighter. My intuition comes through clearly again. It’s like my system remembers who’s in charge.
Frequency regulation is something I practice every day now.
It’s in the little resets that bring me back to myself — morning movement, a slow cup of tea before I open my laptop, a walk after a long session, choosing quiet instead of constant input.
(And for my coffee lovers, no judgment. Just maybe breathe first, sip second and eat some breakfast first! loll)
The more I do it, the quicker my system finds balance again. And that’s what this work is really about. Not perfection, not control, but remembering what it feels like to be in your own frequency.
It’s time to come home to your frequency!
Reflection: Ways to Regulate Your Frequency
If you’ve been feeling off lately, I suggest starting small.
Here are a few things that always help me come back to myself.
1. Pause before input.
Before you check your phone, scroll, or answer messages, take a single deep breath. Let your energy settle before you connect with anyone else’s.
2. Reset your senses.
Step outside for a minute. Touch a plant, feel the air, listen to background sounds. Frequency regulation often starts with something physical.
3. Reconnect with what’s real.
Drink water. Light a candle. Make tea. Do something that reminds your body it’s safe and supported.
There’s no fixing needed here you guys - just remember what it feels like to be in it.
With love and alignment,

Nicely written. I totally agree about the need to actively manage your energy states during the day. I always feel an energy drop when checking apps, email etc so try hard to limit this, but notice a very addictive like pull to check WhatsApp, email, Facebook when Im stressed or tired. Without checking in this can quickly become an issue. Thanks for writing this I'll share a link to your article in my next roundup newsletter.
