How I Make Moon Water (and Why It Actually Helps Me Reset)
TLDR: ⚡️
This is my go-to full moon ritual when I need to clear my head and get back in alignment. It’s super simple: set an intention, make moon water, and anchor it into real life. Sharing exactly how I do it, why it works, and an easy grounding practice you can try too.

There’s something grounding about working with the moon. It’s not about being woo woo or needing to know every phase by heart. It’s about tuning into something bigger than your to-do list and reconnecting with what you actually want.
One of the easiest ways I do that is by making moon water.
It’s low-effort, intention-packed, and surprisingly powerful when you’re feeling off, stuck, or ready to shift your energy. Whether you’re manifesting something new, trying to let go, or just need a reset, moon water becomes a physical reminder of what you’re calling in.
Why the Full Moon Hits Different 🌝
The full moon is the peak of the lunar cycle. Think of it like a spotlight. Whatever you’ve been ignoring, avoiding, or working toward tends to show up clearly. It’s the perfect time to check in with yourself, release what’s not working, and set the tone for the next chapter.
This Full Moon in Libra is all about balance, relationships, and softening the edges. It’s your reminder to slow down, recalibrate, and pay attention to how things feel, not just how they look on paper.
How I Make Moon Water 👩🏼🍳
Grab a clean jar and fill it with filtered water
Clean your space and energy. Light a candle, play music, burn sage or palo santo if you want
Write a letter to the Universe like it’s already happened
“Thank you for my new opportunity, my peace, my confidence. I feel proud and grounded…”
Fold the letter toward you three times and place it under your jar
Leave the jar in the moonlight overnight (a window works fine)
Bring it in before sunrise to keep the energy soft and lunar
It’s simple, intentional, and you don’t need to believe in anything out there to feel a shift when you do it.
A Glimpse Into My Practice
A big passion project in my life right now is Vibrational Bloom, the business I’m building from scratch. It’s about energy, healing, and creating space for people to reconnect with themselves without it being complicated. I’ve been diving deep into Reiki, intuitive living, and what it really means to feel good in your body and mind.
Rituals like moon water or grounding outside help me stay connected to that. They remind me why I’m doing this and give me space to reset when life feels a little full.
If you’re building something of your own or just trying to find a version of life that feels good, I hope you try something like this too.
What I Use My Moon Water For
Sipping in the morning while I journal or set intentions
Anointing pulse points or heart space before meditating
Adding to a bath or using in a DIY face rinse
Watering my plants with a little extra love
Cleaning my altar tools or crystals
Use it in ways that feel grounding for you. It’s about the intention, not the rules.
Easy Grounding Ritual (No Crystals Required) 🪵
If moon water isn’t your thing or you just need something quick, here’s my go-to grounding ritual when I need a reset.
Simple Things I Use
Bare feet
A patch of earth
Something small to offer back (herbs, petals, moon water, etc.)
What That Looks Like for Me
Step outside barefoot. Breathe
Stand still or walk slowly
Inhale golden light. Exhale whatever’s heavy
Place the offering and say, “Thank you for holding me”
Set a simple intention like “I choose peace” or “I move with ease”
It doesn’t need to be deep or dramatic. It just needs to be yours.
Field Notes from the Bloom🪻
One thing about my friends and me — we’re always sharing podcast episodes. Something thoughtful, something healing, something that just clicks when you need it. Since this space is a community and you’re officially my people, I wanted to bring that same energy to you.
I started a curated playlist called Field Notes from the Bloom 🎧 — filled with episodes that made me pause, think deeper, or feel more grounded. If you love walking with a podcast, tidying up with something nourishing in your ears, or simply collecting insights that stick, this is for you.
This week’s star episode:
🎙️ Dr. Jonathan Leary: Alternative Medicine, Social Wellness, and the Future of American Healthcare
on the CAPS LOCK podcast
It’s an honest conversation about redefining health, building wellness communities, and shifting from traditional to functional medicine. A must-listen if you’re curious about where healthcare is heading and what it really means to be well.
Let me know if anything lands for you — and feel free to send over any recs you think I should add next.
